Professor Sarre was chit chatting to the class while the technician was setting up the equipments,
he mentions that quite a huge number of Malaysian students are in the class,
and he travels to Malaysia quite often.
In fact,
he is going to International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) tomorrow night.
Uhhh....
All the Malaysian students were so happy,
because we taught that we can squeeze into his luggage and go home!
Then he talks about he went to a very nice Malaysian cuisine restaurant in Gouger Street,
he can't pronouce the name of the restaurant,
he kept saying "ko...ko...tim".
Ha ha...
what he wanted to say was "Kopitim"!
After teaching him the correct pronunciation of "kopitim",
he started the class.
But guess what,
during the whole 1 hour of lecture,
he left me down there by thinking of FOOD!
The fish porridge outside my house,
char kuay teow in pasar malam,
tau-fu fa in pasar pagi,
nasi lemak in pasar pagi.
Yum yum,
I spent the whole lecture "reviewing" food!
